It's my first match should I tie my shoes a little tight or loose?

I am a 17 yrs old (5%26quot;4, 125 lbs) girl. It%26#039;s a badminton match.

I use general sport shoes.

I refuse to buy badminton shoes cos I play in too many sports to buy accordingly to the sport

Thank you a lot.

i little tight.
Reply:Before warm-up, begin with just a neutral tension on your shoelaces. As you begin to play, as with any other rigorous activity involving footwork, your feet will swell up a bit. From there, it comes down to personal preference as to whether or not you need to tighten/loosen your laces.

From personal experience, as I begin to play, I tighten my shoes as I go.
Reply:Whatever feels comfortable for you. I usually tie my shoes a littler tighter whenever I play because they tend to loosen a bit.
Reply:too tight, you don%26#039;t want to have to worry about your feet sliding around in your shoes at your first match!
Reply:i was pretty much in the same situation a few years back, except it was a tennis match

i dont buy shoes specific to each sport either for the same reason as you

i would recommend that you do them up pretty tight during the practice and see how you feel, and adjust them accordingly

i personally like mine to be tight, but not uncomfortable

good luck on your first match,

Reply:Most important - how do you feel. During the warm up, this should enable you to adjust if you do not feel comfortable.
