if you want to find the right shoe than i suggest that you go to the Running Center. the Running Center evaluates the way each person runs and then brings out shoes that would be most suitable for the runner. the Running Center will also match almost any price. you can find the location at www.runningcenters.com
Reply:Try New Balance shoes, it is a specialty foot ware store. They will access your gait, and fit you properly in the right type of running shoes. A good pair of running shoes are $100 or up. It is very important to know if you are over-pronater, supernater or netural, so ask the salesperson to check your gait and ask them how it works.
Reply:A local running store is your best bet. They will take the time to evaluate the wear of your current running shoes and the way you run. They will also ask you how many miles and what types of terrain you run. From that, they will be able to match 3-4 shoes that will suit your needs.

Yes, local running stores are not cheap but I feel it's worth the cost by avoiding injury because of bad running shoes. Plus, nothing beats the personal touch. Once you do find what works for you, you can always go to E-Bay or the bigger chains for a better price.
