Is it ok to walk in my running shoes?

I recently bought a $200 pair of asics because my feet hurt from cheaper shoes when I played sports and went for long runs.... I'm wondering if it's ok to walk with these shoes, or should they be strictly for running?

Is it ok to walk in my running shoes?
You can walk in running shoes and you can run in running shoes that only think that is wrong about walking in the shoes is that you might wore the shoes down sooner then if you were not walking in then. And your foot might get comfortable with the shoe from walking and running in it and you might start to have pain again





I am a running and i know a little about it
