What shoes would work best?

Okay, I am trying to find a pair of athletic shoes for court sports. I want a "diverse" pair of shoes that would work for basketball and volleyball practice, as well as for P.E. class.

Any recommendations?

What shoes would work best?
Good tennis shoes are a must if you plan on being on your feet a lot as well as jumping around. You only have one set of knees and they have to last a lifetime. Bouncing on pavement or hard wood floors can do a number on your knees in a short time so you need a really good cushioned pair of athletic shoes. They have them that are gel and air cushioned and they would be great. You will need to take into consideration the style of the sole. Some shoes are made for walking and the heel is wider at the bottom. Some are made for jumping and dashing around and the heal is thicker. I suggest you go to a store that has a good shoe sales person that knows the shoes. Don't go to just any store where their is someone that help you in the shoe department. Have them fit your feet and talk about what type is best for you and all that you are going to use them for. You do not have to buy the shoes there if they are too expensive. You can get their expertise, thank them, and then go purchase those shoes at a cheeper place if you need to. But it is important that you have a good quality shoe and not one that is cheeply made to protect your feet. Also, depending on how much they are used, you need to replace them every 3 to 6 months for the best health on your feet and knees.
