I am REALLY short at 5'1. I just feel scared of flat shoes or sport shoes. Help?

When I wear heels I feel comfortable and confident. Should I wear only heels?

I am REALLY short at 5'1. I just feel scared of flat shoes or sport shoes. Help?
O my gosh. I know how you feel. I am 5'1'' myself.


Heres what I do.


I wear comfortable shoes, no matter what. Sometimes I wear ballet flats,flip flops, and pumas. I dont wear heels unless its during an important event like the Govenors Galla or a dinner with Senator Burns. Anyhow. I dont wear heels at school because I do a lot of walking.


Being confident matters, but you do need to realize that being short doesnt suck. Dont be scared of the shoes that have no heel.


Yes peoples tease you about your height. But ya know, its ok. Dont wear heels just to hide your height. Its ok to be short.

Reply:Hey! Who you callin short? haha i'm 5' 1" as well... I consider it 'fun sized'... guys don't mind a lil shorty, they actually like it. And I don't really mind what other girls think of me... cause dynamite [and diamonds!] come in small packages. i might be five one but i have a personality so much taller. i love the feeling i get in heels, but sometimes i enjoy just being my short lil shelf. flats make me feel too short, but i love adidas sandals and sneakers.... and of course i love my hi heels!
Reply:You're not REALLY short, Try being 4'10. I've been 4'10 for probably about 4-5 years now. I've gotten used to it my height. I wear heels when I feel like it, not to appease others or make myself feel taller. This is what nature has given you, be glad you're not fit to the mold. Besides, heels are only a "fix for the moment" and heels are not ideal for 7-day a week everyday events. They begin to hurt after a while.
Reply:wear those heels!!! i'd kill to be able to wear stilletos 24/7. but my problem is opposite to yours, i'm 5'6 and i have to limit myself to 3 inchers so i'd still feel, uhm, dainty, LOL... so count yourself lucky, girl, and enjoy all those manolos and jimmy choos. : )
