I am a student that will be competing in a competition for our school's business/marketing club. We are requried to wear a shirt, tie, sports coat, slacks, dress shoes, etc. I will be wearing kaki pants, brown shoes, brown belt, kaki socks, but what is a good color shirt and tie to wear and with what color sports coat? I will be purchasing a new sports coat, shirt, and tie, so please give me ideas on what color of each will go good with the above items. THANKS!!!
Sports Coat and Color Combinations?
Since you already have half the outfit, you need to coordinate.
Sport coat - a brown or tan would go nicely, in a poplin, tweed, herringbone, etc.
Then buy a shirt/tie that goes with all those browns - say a banana or lemon yellow shirt[ need a shot of color ], with an espresso brown patterned tie - nice!
